This is my third independent project. It is once again in Charleston, SC. I tried the black and white again, but took some risk with making the colors in the tree pop out. I really love this peice and I am very proud. I'm very excited to see my photography skills grow and look foward to seeing my next project!
Elizabeth Ann's Art Blog
I want to explore photography and learn new ways to take risk with it.

Charleston- Independent Two
This is my second Independent peice/ my second summited photography peice for a grade. I feel that I am getting a better grasp on photography, and slowly but surely I am learning how to "take risks" with it. This photo is from the battery down in Chuck-town, South Carolina. I got the idea for this composition from an artist Mr. Brandt showed me one day in class. I am really proud of this peice :)

Charlotte-Independent One
This is my first independent project. I had no real inspiration for this when I started out. I just wanted to go on a mini-road trip and take pictures for a completely different project. Turns out, I really like photography. I still have a lot to learn about photography but I'm really proud of myself and this piece.
Woven Umbrella
This is not my favorite piece, because I did not like the idea of weaving. The water color paper made it extremely difficult to weave, so it made the image off. However, if you step back you can still see what my original image was. My favorite thing about this piece is the water color. I had never really used water color before, but I really enjoyed it.
7-UP
My inspiration for this piece was the soda 7-UP. I used the colors from the bottle, a picture of me...upside down, and then made textured paint to look like bubbles. I really like this piece because it was the first one I really did on my own-I got to have a lot of say on my composition along with the colors and what not.

Apples to Apples
This is my erasure drawing. I really like this
peice. Although, at the beginning, like usual, I didn't think it'd turn out wel. However, I really like how i used just the simple idea of an apple, yet incorporated the border of leaves, along with the leaves' colors.

India Ink pose
Okay, so this one
<---was practice....and this one
----> is my "final". They look
the same, right? I don't like
either of these at all. I don't feel like I got enough practice. However, one thing I do like about ----> That one, is the pose Kevin was in, along with color i added. Acutally, this isn't even the finished product. I went back in and added orange, to contrast with the blue. I guess overall, I just need more practice(:
