I love this peice. This is like my hand peice. I just used watered down acrylic and an ink pen to create this. This peice is the very beginning of my concentration statement...which is exploring anatomy and what not(: I really like anatomy and I cannot wait to continue basing my artwork off of it.Friday, November 20, 2009

Very nice. If I had taken anatomy drawing people would be much easier. Unfortunatly I've had to learn the harder way. Very pretty peice.
ReplyDeleteLarisa, I agree with your comment that understanding the anatomy is definitely key to successful figure drawings. I used to have some great anatomy books, but for some reason they disappeared. (I blame the Art I's.) I'm in the process of replenishing the stock.

This is a really neat page. I think that the colors of the watercolors (I'm assuming?) work very nicely together. Very harmonious. And this reminds me of a giant piece of artwork that is hanging in my chiropractors office. (: But, maybe you should consider making this a larger scale piece. I think it would be awesome!
